Signing ceremony of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts and Beijing Mahua FunAge Culture Media Co., LTD held in Macau

The opening ceremony of "Vision Macao 2023 - Macao International Communication Week and MUST Chinese Youth Film Shorts Exhibition" was held on April 12, 2023, at the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). During the opening ceremony, the Faculty of Humanities and Arts signed a contract with Beijing Mahua FunAge Culture Media Co., LTD to develop cultural content.

Since its establishment, Mahua FunAge has launched films such as "Chongqing Hot Pot," "Dying to Survive," and "Hello Mr. Billionaire," as well as over 80 stage plays, achieving remarkable results in project development and operation in both theater and film. At the same time, the company trains actors and teaches market operation. Currently, it has signed hundreds of actors, including popular box office stars like Shen Teng and Ma Li, as well as young comedians, who continuously enrich the talent pool in the theater and film.

Li Fenghua, the general manager of Beijing Mahua FunAge Culture Media Product Center, has  signed a contract with Zhang Zhiqing, the dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts at the University of Macau. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Han Mei, executive president of Beijing Mahua FunAge Culture Media, and Professor Li Xingwei, the vice-rector and president of the University of Macau.

On April 20, at the closing ceremony of "Visual Macau 2023" Macau International Communication Week,  hosted by MUST,  Beijing Mahua FunAge Culture Media Co., Ltd. presented a character model of "Gangzi," a golden hamster from the play "Walking on the Moon," to the Film Academy of MUST. This digital model donation ceremony marks a substantial advancement in the cooperation between the two parties in the field of culture. This collaboration is the first project of Beijing Mahua FunAge Culture Media in Macau, and it represents a new initiative for Beijing Mahua FunAge Culture Media to deepen its engagement in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area following the promulgation of the "Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area."

Beijing Mahua FunAge Culture Media and MUST will focus on the integration of industry and education, as well as collaboration between the university and the company, aiming to enhance the training of industry talents. They will carry out a series of talent cooperation programs, including master classes, comedy workshops, and practical training in the performing arts and film industry, with the goal of discovering and cultivating creative  talents. Together, they will establish the most influential comedy, film, and theater creation base and talent training center in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau. Leveraging Macau's geographical advantages, they will also build an international platform for talent exchange and practical training. At the same time, Beijing Mahua FunAge Culture Media will contribute to the training of film and theater talents, the incubation and development of film and theater projects, and the enrichment of Macau's cultural industry.
