SOCAAC releases measures to support SOEs

The State-owned Cultural Assets Administration Center (SOCAAC) of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality has published measures to support Stated-owned cultural enterprises during the period of preventing and controlling the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, according to a Feb 14 statement on its website.

Under the seven measures, the SOCAAC is promising to support the State-owned cultural enterprises, to restart their work to minimize the adverse impact of the epidemic.

Enterprises are being encouraged to produce cultural content, create thematic works, provide public cultural services and enrich people's spiritual and cultural lives -- with the theme of epidemic prevention and control and epidemic fighting.

Officials said that at the same time, the SOCAAC will implement the municipal government's policies and measures supporting rent, tax and financing.

It will reasonably determine the total wages of enterprises and continue to promote the reform and development of enterprises, they added.

In addition, the SOCAAC will make efforts to help ensure the smooth flow of funds for the companies and support enterprises applying for special policy support funds during the period of epidemic prevention and control.
