The third phase of an investment and financing training program -- for Beijing cultural companies and innovation and entrepreneurial cultural companies aiming to list on the stock market -- was held in Beijing on Nov 11-15, according to the organizers.

They said that about 70 representatives from the entrepreneurial cultural enterprises and investment and financing institutions were invited to participate in the training.

The training was sponsored by the State-owned Cultural Assets Administration Center (SOCAAC) of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, the Beijing Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Officials said the training session was an important initiative by SOCAAC in order to create a breeding ground for future share market listings of cultural enterprises -- as well as to advance the development of a multi-level capital market in Beijing, and optimize the business environment.

During the training, nine experts were invited to give lectures on cultural industry development trends and investment hotspots, as well talks on cultural finance and capital market supervision policies.

At the same time, several internal exchange meetings for entrepreneurs were held during the training.

Officials said that to a certain extent, the program helped trainees understand the development trends and latest knowhow about investment and financing in the cultural industry, as well as build a platform for entrepreneurs to search for partners.
