The 2019 International College Magic Convention will take place in Beijing's northwestern Changping district Friday to Sunday.

Magicians from 16 countries and regions, including China, the US, France, Germany, Japan and Malaysia, will join the convention and present a magic show for the public.

The convention is hosted by the China Acrobats Association, the Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau and the Changping district government. It will be staged at the China University of Political Science and Law and the Jingzhihu Resort in Changping.

A magic fair, lecture and performance will be held, said Yuan Limin, head of the Changping Culture and Tourism Authority.

The convention is part of Changping district's efforts to develop its creative culture and tourism industry and spice up visitor experience.
