In order to promote the development of its tourism industry, Beijing's Tongzhou district will build a cultural tourism area with Universal Studios City as its core.

The Universal Studios Theme Park is under construction in Tongzhou district. In order to avoid having insufficient infrastructure, Taihu town of Tongzhou district will take the opportunity to construct a 100 mu ecological recreation park, that is expected to increase the number of tourists in the future.

Taihu Performing Arts Town is less than one kilometer away from Universal Studios Theme Park. The city has already constructed the Taihu Stage Art Center of the National Center for the Performing Arts.

In the future, the Taihu Park and the 100 mu of green space surrounding it will serve as a backdrop to Universal Studios Theme Park, and provide a complete set of services for tourists from around the world, such as health care, leisure, entertainment and tourism.
