Training course targets workers in cultural sector

The first session of an advanced study class for professionals and talented individuals working in the cultural creative sector opened in Beijing on June 25.

The five-day training course, sponsored by the State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office (SOCASAO) and Capital Cultural Industry Association, was themed around the high-quality development of Beijing's culture sector according to the current development situation of the culture sector and the needs of cultural creative companies. 

It aims to train leading professionals and promising individuals to be competitive in the market, as well as giving them innovation and professional skills, and support high-quality development of the culture sector in Beijing through policy explanation, expert lectures, case studies and discussions.  

Gao Shusheng, deputy director of the Cultural Reform and Development Office of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, gave a lecture focusing on the development status quo and current trend of the domestic culture sector at the first session.

Representatives of 70 cultural creative companies registered in Beijing, including Changjiang Culture Co and Happy Elements Technology (Beijing), attended the training class. 

To further information sharing, resource sharing and project partnerships among cultural creative companies in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Capital Cultural Industry Association also invited representatives of 12 related businesses from Tianjin and Hebei province to the training.
