Activities like a Mass Reading campaign, outdoor screenings, a dance contest, the Yanqi Lake Beer Culture Festival, and Film-TV themed tours can all be found during the season. The reading campaign included a knowledge quiz, essay competition, photography contest, lectures, book exchange, recital training and recital contests to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the CPC's founding and the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese Red Army's Long March.
