The district hosted the 2016 China Art Industry Expo, which included several core trading areas such as the main hall – Sunshine International Art Museum, the special exhibition hall of Beijing sub-center (Tongzhou district), and Taobao street. Various exhibitions featuring craftmanship, original artworks, art derivatives, as well as forums, lectures and promotions were held to boost the development of the art indusry and improve the art consumption market.
