Hi-tech enterprise authentication criteria unscrambled at meeting
A seminar on hi-tech recognition and training was held by Beijing’s State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office (SOCASAO) on July 21, which helped decipher the official files for representatives from more than 30 companies.
To promote the recognition of Beijing-based culture and technology enterprises, and let more hi-tech companies benefit from the preferential policies, the seminar invited experts to interpret the official files issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Administration of Taxation.
The interpretation and analysis included different aspects of hi-tech enterprise authentication, such as its organization and implementation, recognition procedure, tax benefits, supervision and management, online declaration, and corporate income tax record.
Criteria for the authentication were also highlighted including the needed supporting technology, intellectual property conditions, income proportion of hi-tech products or services, staffing, R&D fees, and recognition standards.
In addition, the policy interpreter from Beijing’s cultural and economic service platform also introduced policies and advisory services for the various hi-tech enterprises, and an open question session was held.
The seminar, co-organized by the Scientific and Technological Innovation Division of SOCASAO, Beijing Haidian Cultural Creative Industry Association, and Beijing’s cultural and economic service platform, is the first training session organized since the industry was officially recognized an important area by national officials as part of the 13th Five-Year Plan.
